'Quarantine Challenge' Details!
QUARANTINE CHALLENGE MARCH 23 TO APRIL 1

MAHALO for being part of our CFAS community, we appreciate you understanding the magnitude of the COVID-19 pandemic and our duty as humans to 'slow the spread' and save more lives by not overwhelming our medical care system. I know it's different, and change is sometimes hard, but always worth it. You are saving lives by staying OUT of the gym, staying home as much as possible, and digging deep inside yourself continuing to train at home. We will continue to provide you the support you need, we are not 'closed' we are here for you in every capacity that the law will allow. Mahalo for all that you do!
How to Play:
- Your team is the same as your 'Buddy Coach' assignment team.
- Participation is optional, and highly recommended! It's HEALTHY for you to continue to stay healthy and on track with your fitness...ESPECIALLY NOW.
- You will contribute points to your team in the following ways:
- 1 point per workout (30-60 min session), yes you can earn more than 1 a day if you train more than once a day!
- You do not have to do 'our scheduled WOD' you can do any workout or outdoor activity to get your point! Get more points for your team the more you workout!
- Get 1 point per day for STAYING ON TRACK with your nutrition, WHOLE FOODS, little sugar, limit processed foods, limit snacking. We're NOT going SUPER strict here. Set goals for yourself, and if you meet them that day your earn your nutrition point! We'll do more strict nutrition challenges as we move into April, right now take small steps.
There are 10 days in this challenge for you to contribute to your team!
How do you keep track of your score?
There's so many ways! Your Buddy Coach will reach out to you to get your final points after the challenge. TEAM WINNERS will be announced the week of April 1. BRAGGING RIGHTS earned for all winners! Some ways to keep track of your points.....
- Log your workouts in SugarWOD and you'll have a digital record
- Keep a paper journal
- Log in your workouts into your notes on your phone
- Use the chart provided on page 2!
Buddy Coach Guidelines:
1. Buddy coach duty is just digital & online support, and it’s purpose to encourage the team and assist with any technical support about working out at home.
2. You buddy coach may only check in with you in the beginning and the end of the challenge to collect your points. Remember, they are volunteering at this point and they all have their own lives and challenges. Please be respectful of their time as well.
3. STAY POSITIVE on any communication with your group! Remember we’re all going through challenges and we’re only as strong as we are together. If you need individual support reach out to your coach individually, and not on a group chat or text (which are optional!)
It sucks but we need to follow the rules as best we can and be responsible humans! We will all be back together soon if we work together as a community to slow the spread best we can!
